Description

We are looking for a talented Storeperson to join our high performing team based in Wetherill Park. In this role, you’ll be part of a high functioning day-shift team, supporting our Parts and Warehouse operations. You’ll assist with customer enquiries at the front counter, help keep the department running smoothly, and step in to support the Parts Supervisor when required. This is a 6-9 month fixed term contract with view to permanency. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Receiving deliveries – Checking incoming parts and materials from suppliers to make sure they are correct and not damaged * Putting stock away – Organising and storing parts in the correct locations so they are easy to find later * Supplying parts to the workshop – Picking and issuing parts to technicians so they can complete their jobs * Stock control – Keeping track of what parts are in stock, updating inventory in the computer system and reporting when items are running low * Packing and dispatching orders – Preparing parts for delivery or shipment to customers or other branches * Keeping the store tidy and safe – Making sure the warehouse or parts area is clean, organised, and safe to work in * Helping customers or staff with parts enquiries via F2F, phone and email – Finding the correct part or checking availability Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
