Description
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Receiving deliveries – Checking incoming parts and materials from suppliers to make sure they are correct and not damaged * Putting stock away – Organising and storing parts in the correct locations so they are easy to find later * Supplying parts to the workshop – Picking and issuing parts to technicians so they can complete their jobs * Stock control – Keeping track of what parts are in stock, updating inventory in the computer system and reporting when items are running low * Packing and dispatching orders – Preparing parts for delivery or shipment to customers or other branches * Keeping the store tidy and safe – Making sure the warehouse or parts area is clean, organised, and safe to work in * Helping customers or staff with parts enquiries via F2F, phone and email – Finding the correct part or checking availability Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
