THE OPPORTUNITY

BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Driver/ Storeperson to join the team based in Mount Isa. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.
The Driver/ Storeperson supports our warehouse operations in ensuring our products and solutions are delivered to our customers in a safe and timely manner through safely assisting in packaging, loading, restraining loads, driving a purpose-built truck and also assisting in unloading supplier’s deliveries on arrival.
This role has a Monday-Friday 38-hour work week, allowing for work/life balance and free weekends. Enjoy a competitive salary package including participation in our Profit Share Program (bonus). Whilst contributing to a safe working environment, this role will see you:

• drive a purpose-built heavy rigid (manual) delivery truck
• safely loading and unloading our products on and off trucks and customers vehicles
• operate forklifts and process machinery as required
• accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer delivery and collections
• general warehousing and dispatch duties as required
