We are seeking a Storeperson to join our team in managing the day-to-day operations of our rock and soil core store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating equipment, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the core store.

The new core Storeperson will be based in our lab/sample stores and report directly to the laboratory managers. Primarily responsible for the storage and management of samples, your duties will include:

• Booking in, quality check and store allocation for all incoming samples
• Sample collection and delivery
• Maintaining the chain of custody of all samples
• Picking and checking samples and subsamples for laboratory testing
• Disposing of samples in line with Company policy
• Maintaining stock levels of sample containers

We are looking for someone high energy, enthusiastic and organised with the right attitude to tackle this role. You will need a full UK drivers’ licence. A forklift truck licence would be beneficial.

Pay: From £11.44 per hour
