THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Stores person to join our team in Pinkenba on day shift.
This is a labour hire role through our recruitment partner, Haynes People, with a genuine opportunity to become a permanent team member at HMG for the right candidate.
You’ll play a key part in managing stock, supporting workshop operations, and ensuring the smooth flow of parts and materials. This role offers the stability of a 38-hour week with overtime available, and the chance to work in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Preparing and dispatching outgoing jobs, ensuring items are packaged, labelled, and ready for safe transit
• Receiving and unloading incoming shipments, recording items accurately, and assisting with stock flow
• Operating forklifts safely to move, load, and unload materials in the stores and yard
• Picking, packing, and coordinating orders for timely despatch
• Liaising with workshop, production, and purchasing teams to keep records and paperwork accurate
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe stores and dispatch area, supporting continuous improvement across operations
