In your new role you'll be joining a friendly and supportive team with strong leadership, focused on safety and excellence in all that they do. From a day to day perspective, you'd be undertaking the following: Undertake assigned duties and tasks in line with company policy, procedure and operating practices including quality assurance guidelines, and in compliance with relevant legislation and regulation such as, but not limited to, Chain of Responsibility and OHS Load/ unload product, including lifting and maneuvering activity. This may include moving product into or out of shipping containers/ trucks/ transportation vehicles and include the use of forklifts, loading equipment or material handling equipment Undertake accurate picking for sales delivery orders Prepare and pack, as appropriate, sales delivery orders ready for distribution Undertake a range of verification procedures, including check off procedure prior to transport loading Verify inbound inventory receipts for materials, quantity, and validation purposes Conduct inventory housekeeping duties such as replenishment tasks for optimization of stock picking, or rotation of inventory to meet FIFI principals Undertake a range of administrative duties associated with loading/ unloading transport carriers, distribution, quality assurance/ defective materials, or storage procedures Undertake, with direction or supervision as required, assembly of materials to complete Bill of Materials or Workshop builds Undertake timely and accurate record keeping in relation to paperwork and systems including SAP (WMS) Competently and safely operate hand or power tools and equipment in order to enact duties Conduct detailing/ cleaning activity on machinery or equipment (as required) General warehouse cleaning as scheduled or required Remediate if appropriate, or report/ escalate any Chain of Responsibility matters Other duties within the limit of knowledge, skill, and ability (as directed) Undertake training and take all reasonable steps to ensure health and safety of team, self, and others in the workplace at all times. Comply with organization policy and procedure including OHS policy and procedure To be successful, your experience and background would look something like: Completion of High School, or equivalent education level High Risk Work License (LF) Significant Counterbalance and Reach Truck Forklift experience Significant experience in similar, Storeperson level position, undertaking warehousing duties for inbound and outbound products and activities Experience in the handling of 'ugly freight', oversized and heavy equipment (desirable) Mechanical knowledge and/ or skills (desirable) Experience loading and unloading transportation vehicles and shipping containers Sound attention to detail and communication skills Well-developed time management and organizational skills with proven ability to work autonomously and with direction Capable of undertaking a full range of manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending, reaching Competent computing skills, experience with SAP (WMS) (desirable) and experience in using an RF scanner Proven safe operation of handheld power tools and other mechanical equipment Demonstrated ability to read and follow procedural and/ or safety documentation Demonstrated ability to ensure the health and safety of self and others in the workplace and to follow relevant law/ regulations and company policies and procedures IMPORTANT TO NOTE Kubota have a zero tolerance approach to alcohol and illicit drugs on all our sites.
