Storeperson Weir Minerals Eastern Creek 2x Afternoon shift | 1.00pm – 9.00pm Join a fantastic team environment and support the wider business with a range of warehouse functions! We are currently recruiting a number of storeperson positions which have a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy and urgency in order to support department objectives and fulfill customer service requirements. These roles will be required to work afternoon hours (1:00PM - 9:00PM). Key Responsibilities: · Picking product by hand, utilising Material Handling Equipment or mechanical aids Packaging or repackaging of outbound consignments, including labeling and packing to customer specific packaging requirements Utilisation of hand tools including but not limited to; nail guns, hammers, strappers, crow bars, staple guns and labelers. Utilising WMA’s systems to control stock movement including receipt, put-away, picking and dispatch Utilisation of RF scanners Liaise with other departments, service providers and internal stakeholders, relative to stock movement, transport or warehousing, when required Operation of Material Handling Equipment, inclusive of on pavement forklifts and high reach trucks Loading and unloading of various truck types Job Knowledge: Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Working experience in a warehouse environment.
