Goddard Catering Group Jamaica is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team in the capacity of Storeroom Manager at our Montego Bay operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing storeroom operations, inventory management, stock control, food store handling, and compliance with required safety, hygiene, and operational standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities Manage inventory control processes to ensure that supplies are available as required and that stock balances are aligned with inventory records and reports. Maintain the storeroom in proper condition, ensuring the safe loading, storage, handling, and distribution of food stores and related supplies in keeping with Public Health standards and HACCP requirements. Monitor storeroom activities to ensure inventory accuracy, quality control, proper documentation, and compliance with Company procedures. Ensure that stock is issued in accordance with the First In, First Out (FIFO) procedure to minimize aging stock, wastage, and spoilage. Lead and coordinate storeroom inventory counts and audits, including scheduled physical counts. Identify, report, investigate, and assist in resolving material variances, discrepancies, stock losses, and inventory-related concerns. Maintain proper records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and inventory movements. Support operational efficiency by ensuring that all departments receive required supplies in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, internal controls, health and safety requirements, and food safety standards. Prepare and review stock reports and provide updates to management as required. Supervise, guide, and support storeroom personnel to ensure accountability, accuracy, productivity, and compliance with established standards. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of three years’ proven experience in a similar storeroom, inventory, warehouse, supply chain, or stock control management role. Practical working knowledge and experience using SAP for inventory, stock control, purchasing, goods receipt, stock movement, or related supply chain functions. Well-developed organizational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical judgment in handling sensitive matters.
