We are looking for a Storeroom Supervisor with minimum 3 years experience to manage daily operations, oversee inventory control, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves ensuring food safety compliance, maintaining organization, upholding quality standards, and managing processes while effectively communicating with staff and management to optimize storeroom efficiency. JOB DESCRIPTION

The Storeroom Supervisor is part of the Operations Team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. the Storeroom Supervisor is responsible of day-to-day operations in the Storeroom Department, ensuring that CLS Catering Services Ltd. is delivering a high level of service, safety, and quality of products.
Reporting To: Operations Manager
Compensation: $ 55000 to 60000 Annually
Schedule: Monday to Sunday shift work, 40 hours per week.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the food industry, preferably in a unionized environment
  • Ability to work in high volume of food products
  • Experience in coaching, delegating and disciplining employees
  • Experience in supervising at least 10-15 employees
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Food and Food Safety
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills, and comfortable working with all levels of staff and management in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Must demonstrate working knowledge of HACCP protocols
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate decision making and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to implement and manage processes
  • Familiar with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include (and not limited to) the following:

  • Oversee Storeroom procedures of all incoming and outgoing goods
  • Manage a dedicated team including scheduling, training, discipline and performance evaluation(s)
  • Ensure all received goods are in good quality and quantity according to the invoice
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of the goods
  • Maintain storage, security, and rotation of food as per HACCP regulations
  • Organize and keeps the Storeroom in an orderly and hygienic manner
  • Advise Purchasing of any issues with products or suppliers
  • Ensures that stocks and supplies are adequate, and are stored in a manner that preserves their quality (following FIFO procedures)
  • Communicate with other levels of management and make recommendations regarding non-usable, slow-moving and excess stock
  • Resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
