QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

You will be computer literate, will be customer focused and able to work alone and in part of a team. Also possessing a good attention to detail and a leaving certificate as a minimum.

ROLE PURPOSE:

We are looking for a competent stores assistant to work in our busy stores department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role is responsible for many duties, including but not limited to:

• Inputting of all requisitions into our main computer system
• Generating, collating, collecting, and delivering all pick list for each area
• Ensuring adequate levels of consumables are maintained across all areas
• Deliver all product to the correct areas in clinic
• Rotating stock through FIFO
• Respond to and follow up enquiries by telephone, and personal visits.
• Good communication skills with nursing, catering and cleaning staff on the unit and produce smooth efficient running of each area
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safety in stores
• Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information on stock discrepancies and out date stock
