TM Scotland are extremely excited to be working on behalf of a client in Aberfeldy that is currently looking to secure 2 x experienced Stores Assistant to add to the team working any 5 days out of 7, Mon to Sun. The hours are 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm.
Our client is looking for someone to join the team ASAP after an interview with both TM and the Store Manager.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of retail operations. This role involves assisting customers, managing inventory, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. The Retail Sales Associate will also be responsible for materials handling and may operate warehouse management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong skills in materials handling, including heavy lifting as necessary.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
  • Mechanical knowledge would be beneficial for assisting with product assembly or repairs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition towards customers.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Handle materials efficiently, including loading and unloading stock as required.
  • Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and assist with stock management.
  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all products are accounted for and in good condition.
  • Assist in building displays and merchandising products effectively within the store.
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
