Job Summary:
The Stores Facilities Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of facilities maintenance and repair activities across Omaha Steaks retail stores nationwide. This role coordinates vendor work, tracks maintenance tickets, assists with store project logistics (openings, closings, and remodels), and ensures timely and accurate documentation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • 2- year college degree or equivalent in Administration
  • 2-3 years’ experience in facilities maintenance or project management in retail environment
  • PC and various window applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, scanner, in-house data base/help desk.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of grammar and spelling principles with the ability to proofread effectively.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of facilities systems (HVAC, security, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to handle a large number of projects concurrently.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Must have good judgment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitors and tracks stores facilities maintenance requests through the work order system. Coordinates with vendors to schedule maintenance and repairs. Follows up with vendors and store teams to confirm work completion and quality.
  • Assists in logistical coordination for store openings, closings, and remodels. Maintains updated records for each project and escalate issues to the Facilities Manager as needed.
  • Communicates with vendors and sets up accounts for new stores including utilities, dry ice suppliers, waste management and HVAC-R service providers. Gathers quotes and assists in vendor selection, tracks and collects allowances. Closes vendor accounts when stores close.
  • Schedules preventive maintenance for stores equipment. Tracks and documents maintenance activities.
  • Gathers necessary information for landlords and prepares Tenant Improvement Allowance documents as required by lease.
  • Serves as back up for security management when necessary, and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Is on standby for immediate response to emergency maintenance and repair calls during off-hours.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
