They have a new opportunity for a storesperson to join a very successful business at their Ormiston site on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE

Managing the storage and swift turnaround of lorries in and out of the stores. Loading & unloading products in and out of store. Check shovels for anything needing repair or fluids topped up, keep them clean and in good working order - defect reporting. Check if external trailers coming into stores are clean and covered before loading. Keep store areas clean and tidy, adhering to TASCC assurance standards. Sampling and temperature checking/monitoring of products. General maintenance of plant and machinery. Weighbridge duties: weighing vehicles in and out of store. Operate loading shovels in a safe manner, avoid collisions with other machinery, lorries or people, be aware of your surroundings.
