IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE.

We are looking for a reliable and well-organised Storeman to take responsibility for managing stock orders and deliveries at our Hotel. This role is key to ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies, supporting both operational and project-based work. The successful candidate will be in charge of receiving, logging, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of stock. In addition, the Storeman will assist with small tasks and provide support across various departments when required.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a storeman, warehouse, or materials handling role.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy items.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory and order management systems.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £12.21-£13.23 per hour
    Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all ordering systems within the Hotel, maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Log all received stock into the inventory system, ensuring records are up to date and accurate.
  • Issue stock items based on job or project requirements, tracking usage and ensuring correct allocation.
  • Record all deliveries as “goods received,” ensuring deliveries are complete, timely, and in line with safety protocols.
  • Support minor tasks and assist in small maintenance or operational jobs as a second man when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly yard and storage areas, ensuring all materials are properly stored.
  • Comply with all health and safety standards, especially when lifting, handling, or operating any machinery.
