Huon is looking for an enthusiastic Stores & Purchasing Lead to oversee purchasing systems and procedures and lead a dynamic team of two. This position will ensure seamless procurement aligned with business system requirements, while driving continuous improvement across inventory management, automation, and cost control.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting the Stores & Purchasing team, ensuring compliance with procedures while expanding inventory control systems
• Streamlining purchasing processes using Esker automation and ensure alignment with JBS/Huon delegated authority requirements
• Implementing and managing systems such as MEX for tracking and purchasing spare parts, driving efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborating with business unit leaders to monitor monthly expenses, support fixed cost management, and meet reporting obligations
• Overseeing vendor sourcing, price negotiation, and purchase order management, while maintaining accurate records and driving continuous improvement across supply chain operations

This is a fulltime opportunity primarily based at Hideaway Bay, near Dover, with travel to sites required.
