YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing stores warehouse role essential
• Forklift truck license
• Prepared to drive the site heavy goods vehicles – HGV licence desirable (Training will be given)
• Able to use and understand SAP software (Training will be given)
• Good computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft packages

Desirable:

• Experience of working in hazardous areas and understanding licencing limits would be advantageous

• Working a 3-shift pattern
• Responsible for the conduct & behaviour of stores operatives
• Ensuring magazines are always within licence & compatibility limits
• Ensuring that stock records of material are kept up to date (SAP)
• Ensuring that corrective reporting is taken in the case of defective or deficient stocks and identifying slow moving stock
• Arrange, maintain a stock review system and “re-life” of shelf-life material
• Service & maintenance of stores handling equipment, vehicles and buildings including security of stores is maintained
• Ensure that cyclical stocktake count is carried out weekly
• Check on a regular basis that the vehicle logbooks, building logbooks and temperature & humidity sheets are completed
