Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Receiving deliveries on site following goods in process ensuring delivery matches delivery note and purchase order, booking in order using internal EFACS software.
Picking and distribution customer specific parts to fulfil production requirements via Kan Bans
Picking and distribution consumables for satellite stores and issuing stock using internal EFACS software.
Ø Stock control:
To keep control of all stock parts and to maintain stock levels using internal EFACS software adhering to reorder points highlighting issues to senior operator and adding to reorder spreadsheet accordingly.
Monthly accurate stock counting.
Ø Health & Safety
To be responsible for the goods in/stores and areas to comply with health and safety, insurance requirements, and to maintain areas in a tidy and orderly way.
Ø Packing
To accurately pick and pack fitting kits on time as per workorder demand ensuring traceability using serial numbers and logging on relevant tracking sheets.
Ø Keeping accurate records
The control of calibration records and inspection equipment.
To use the company computer system to maintain accurate records, conduct stock transfers etc.

OTHER DUTIES :

The control of waste management.
Use of forklift (training will be provided) and other manual handling equipment to unload and move stocks.
To keep working area/Stores clean and tidy and free of hazards, as per the company’s health and safety policy (as per the handbook and policy statement), reporting any potential dangers to the senior operator as soon as they arise.
Be prepared to undertake any internal/external training as required.
To be as flexible as possible with working hours at times of heavy workload.
Responsibility to ensure delivered goods are addressed and stored away before end of a shift.
