POSITION: STORES / WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT / 7.5T DRIVER

Dhollandia UK Ltd is a factory owned subsidiary and responsible for sales, service and distribution of its tail lift products throughout the United Kingdom.
A vacancy has arisen within our Stores Department based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire for a Stores / Warehouse person / 7.5t driver. The role is split across these tasks. It’s likely that up to 40-50% of your time would be out driving the truck but this can vary from week to week.

The Responsibilities

• Auditing incoming orders to ensure correct pricing.
• Processing customer spare part orders
• Liaising with our 70+ nationwide service partners via email and telephone regarding their orders
• Deal with Pod and delivery status
• Assist in the stores / warehouse at peak periods to pick / dispatch goods
• Maintain stock lift inventory
• Preparing stock lifts for dispatch via 3rd party hauliers
• Preparing / loading and delivery of tail lifts on our 7.5t truck
• Strict Adherence to driver working hours and Tachograph rules
• Oversee the maintenance and inspection of the truck to ensure legal compliance

Your Profile

The successful candidate will require the following:

• A valid License, or grandfather rights for driving a vehicle up to 7.5t GVW
• Ideally you will have undertaken the CPC course, however if this isn’t the case training will be provided
• Be computer literate
• Have a very flexible approach to work, good time keeping and organisational skills
• The ability to use own initiative and work in a methodical way
• Be a good communicator

Pay: Up to £30,900.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

• Driver CPC (preferred)
