As part of the $2.3 billion New Intercity Fleet (NIF) project, UGL is seeking a dedicated Stores & Warehouse Operator to join our team at the Dubbo maintenance facility, located in the Orana Region of New South Wales. This role will be offered on a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours – Dayshift predominantly but may need to cover afternoons and weekends dependent on site requirements – 8 hour - 10 hours shifts. About Your Role: In this role, you will manage parts and materials to support the delivery requirements of the Warehouse and ensure efficient operations through accurate tracking and coordination. This position is critical in maintaining interdepartmental relations and the timely movement of supplies to meet the needs of the New Intercity Fleet (NIF). Key Responsibilities: Efficiently manage the movement of parts and materials within the warehouse Maintain accurate records of parts and supplies to track movements to and from suppliers Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure seamless operations and fulfillment of delivery requirements Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment About You: A valid driver’s licence and current forklift ticket – essential Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a good grasp of numeracy and literacy Knowledge of SAP systems – preferred Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to customer service.
