Storesperson We have an opportunity for a Steersperson to join our Honeywell Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom. To support HMD in a flexible manner within the manufacturing process to fulfil customer requirements, and to maintain housekeeping standards within your work area. To work with information provided, to produce components to an acceptable quality for use in Pump units as well as Spares, and to refer parts and instructions which do not comply with specifications for correction through the NCR and ACE Turnback system. The role of a Coordinator is to organize and ensure smooth running on a day-to-day basis of all areas within Stores team. Communication is a key factor in maintaining high standards in performance, on time delivery and quality. Liaise with Leading Hands in organising and planning day to day operations within the Stores area. * Ensure sufficient resources to meet internal and external customer commitments. Able to make difficult but fair decisions when business needs. Work in compliance with the manufacturing work instructions and current ISO standards. * Ensure staff maintain Manufacturing records by completing necessary paperwork correctly. Use the business computer/Inspection database system correctly  * Drive and use the Company’s continuous improvement program-ACE to assist in overcoming problems and make recommendations to the following –  *  (a) Process/product improvement. (May involve QCPC Projects/Mistake Proofing). *     (b) Reduce Cost by utilising tools and equipment to their full potential. (Set up Reduction/Waste Minimisation).  *   (c) Work in a clean and tidy manner (New 5 S/TPM/Area Ownership). * To promote and encourage teamwork. Communicate effectively with staff. Assist in training a new team member to a level of competence. * Ensure staff training forms/records are completed/updated. Attend Company-training schemes internally and externally. Ensure staff demonstrate a good level of productivity and quality. * Show willingness to liaise and work with other Cells/Teams/Departments when business needs. Show willingness to work overtime or demonstrate commitment when necessary for business needs. Demonstrate an acceptable level of timekeeping and attendance.  * Have a high level of understanding of Environmental Health Safety and COSHH. Issues/incentives   Must Have Skills:- Operator Certification.
