KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Monitor and control stock levels ensuring FIFO (first in first out) principles are followed for all material issued
• Conduct perpetual cycle count activity to ensure that both the integrity of stockholding and inventory valuations are accurately maintained. Control of components that are identified as having a prescribed shelf-life
• Ensure that incoming and outgoing material has the relevant paperwork in line with our quality and customer requirements
• Work with Production and Operations functions to issue material in line with business requirements
• Prepare and coordinate all shipping activity including weights and dimensions
• Locating – Locate goods into stock locations ensuring material is labelled up accurately and storage space is adequate for material, and it is packaged appropriately for storage. Update locations in Glovia accurately
• Picking – Review orders and participate in the accurate picking, packing and delivery of customer orders within agreed timescales
• Responsible for complying with all company HS&E (Health & Safety) and warehouse procedural requirements
• Accountable for housekeeping throughout the Stores and surrounding areas to include the yard, ensuring that all housekeeping duties are carried out daily

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment essential
• Experience of using an MRP system
• Strong attention to detail
• Literacy and numeracy skills
• Experience of operating a forklift is preferred
