QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must hold a University/ tertiary degree or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia is essential
  • Obtained or actively seeking Chartered Engineer status (desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years experience practising in a relevant engineering field (essential)
  • TuFlow, DRAINS and 12d experience (essential)
  • AutoCAD, MUSIC, GIS experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of WHS Acts/Legislation (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Environment Legislation (desirable)

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Stormwater Engineer, you will be working on high profile projects drawing on your engineering experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and delivery of water resources projects including flood studies, infrastructure upgrades and water quality projects from concept to completion
  • Prepare hydraulic and hydrological models, design reports and design packaging and design interfaces
  • Participate in all aspects of project delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external authorities to ensure project success
  • Work with a team of engineers and project managers, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Work in accordance with the Business Management System
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality expectations
  • Arrange submissions for design approvals
