Annual Salary: $37,440.00 - $40,462.50 Hourly: $19.20 - $20.75 Department: General Government, Stormwater Management Division: Stormwater Field Operations FLSA: Non-Exempt Job Description: This role will be part of a crew responsible for maintaining and repairing drainage pipes, basins, and easements using a variety of machines, tools, and equipment. Examples of Duties: Cut and remove debris from drainage easements. Assist in repairing drainage pipes and/or drainage catch basins. Operate hand tools and equipment such as weed eaters, pole saws, chainsaws, and other equipment. Assists in taking measurements of the worksite and in deciding quantities and types of material and equipment needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma/GED. Preferred Qualifications: Valid driver’s license to assist in driving a pickup truck to deliver tools, materials, equipment, etc. Other Necessary Requirements: May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. In the event of major storms or other emergency situations, this position may be subject to 24-hour shifts or any other emergency schedule that is necessary to meet the City’s needs.
