As part of our growing Water Division, this is a great opportunity for someone who is interest to grow with us! Reporting into the Stormwater Department Manager, you’ll be involved in the running of the cyclic routine maintenance which can include vegetation control and pond cleaning. In addition to the above you will: Assist in inspections of stormwater drains, culverts, pits, and channels for blockages, damage, or signs of wear. Remove debris, rubbish, silt, and vegetation from stormwater systems to ensure free flow. Assist in the repair and installation of pipes, drainage pits, grates, headwalls, outlets, and culverts. Operate a range of manual and powered tools/equipment. Maintain a safe worksite by following safety protocols and reporting hazards.
