Description Stower/Put Away Associate - Full Time Position Title: Stower/Put Away Associate Department: Inventory Operations Reports To: Inventory Operations Supervisor Job Summary: The Stower/Put Away Associate is responsible for accurately moving processed inventory into designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization, and maintaining inventory accuracy within the BuyWander warehouse. Responsibilities: Inventory Placement and Scanning: Accurately scan newly processed items onto a Put-Away cart, ensuring nothing moves in the warehouse without being scanned. Navigate to an open put-away location, scan the location barcode, and verify that the location on your screen matches the sticker on the shelf. Place items into their verified locations. Hit or exceed UPH goals. Warehouse Organization and Maintenance (Aisle Hygiene): Place the item on the shelf according to stacking rules and perform a rolling inventory scan of all items currently in that location. Adhere to strict stacking rules, including not stacking same or similar items together. Ensure SKU numbers are facing right-side-up and out for easy reading. Correctly place small and bagged items into the smalls bin on each aisle. Place “micro” items into the small bin-wall. Maintain clean aisle maintenance/hygiene. Technology Operation: Use a phone/scanner to perform all put-away and inventory verification tasks. Requirements Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. · Strong attention to detail and accuracy. · Ability to operate a smartphone and Bluetooth scanner. · Ability to manage technology to accomplish tasks. · Reliable and able to perform physical work. Physical Requirements: · Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. · Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds. · Ability to bend, stoop, and reach. · Position requires seeing, hearing, use of hands and fingers, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping in the performance of daily activities. · Must be able to communicate with others including talking, hearing, and listening and exchanging communication. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. · Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
