JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 5 Ton Straight truck, automatic transmission.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery and pickup of freight.
-White Glove deliveries
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to maintain a safe driving record.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, and maintain accurate logs for MTO compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or damages.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries.
Skills:
- Proficient in driving large trucks, - 5 ton Straight truck (or larger)
- Knowledge of route driving to efficiently navigate through designated areas.
- Ability to load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Knowledge of freight transportation procedures and regulations.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
-Attention to details and ability to follow complex instructions

Experience:

• Minimum 3yrs verifiable 5 ton (or larger) Straight truck experience (MANDATORY)
• Commercial Pickup and delivery experience (Mandatory),
• Basic LTL/FTL knowledge (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Class G License (Required Minimum)
• DZ - AZ also acceptable

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Expected hours: 38 - 44 per week
