QUALIFICATIONS ET EXIGENCES

  • Diplôme de deuxième cycle en finance, administration des affaires, économie ou domaine connexe.
  • Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en planification financière, analyse ou rôle-conseil stratégique, de préférence dans un environnement universitaire ou du secteur public.
  • Fortes habiletés en analyse et en résolution de problèmes, jumelées à une capacité à travailler tant de manière autonome qu’n contexte collaboratif.
  • Capacité à communiquer efficacement en français et en anglais, à l’écrit comme à l’oral.
  • Maîtrise avancée d’Excel et PowerPoint.
  • Aptitudes démontrées à analyser efficacement de grands volumes de données complexes.
  • Excellentes habilités rédactionnelles et de présentation, permettant de communiquer clairement des informations complexes.
  • Le titre CPA, CFA ou une maîtrise en administration est considérée comme un atout.

Bishop’s University is seeking a Business Strategist for a regular full-time position. Reporting to the Vice Principal Finance & Administration (VPFA), the Business Strategist plays a pivotal advisory role in supporting the University’s financial sustainability and strategic growth. This position combines high-level strategic insight with hands-on financial planning and analysis. The incumbent will work closely with the VPFA and operational units to identify new revenue opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and enhance financial decision-making processes.
This position has a work week of 35 hours from Monday to Friday with occasional evenings and weekends required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Over 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or strategic advisory roles preferably in a university or a public sector environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large volumes of complex data effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA designation considered an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
