POSITION

We are seeking a Strategic Account Director to join our dynamic Global Travel Team. This role reports to our GM of Travel and is pivotal to our mission to drive growth and scale through our partner channels.

The ideal candidate will have around 10 years of experience in Strategic Account Management (preferably in channel/partner model) within the travel and/or payment industry and be expected to:

  • Execute our GTM channel sales strategy, focused on proactive sell-through motions for both new and existing partners.
  • Identify and drive momentum behind new business opportunities to expand our product and service offerings.
  • Become an expert in the Conferma product suite with a focus on value creation for both partners and end corporate users.
  • Provide accurate forecasting through strong pipeline management and sales conversion methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve operational efficiencies while also advocating for your customers.
  • Influence Product roadmap by being a Voice of the Customer within Conferma - clearly articulating desired use cases, focusing on the “why”, whilst considering the potential return on investment and associated opportunity cost.

REQUIREMENTS

  • An exceptional track record in Strategic Account Management with an innate desire to exceed targets.
  • Experience of operating and thriving in a channel based GTM motion.
  • Strong experience in the corporate travel space. Payments and virtual card knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Self-starter and creative problem-solver with demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen.
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and be comfortable working in the grey.
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to clearly articulate customer requirements to internal teams for enhanced servicing and product development.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, with the flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Able to demonstrate the highest standards of discretion and integrity.
  • Exceptional at synthesizing client data and being the bridge between client needs, commercial outcomes and technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience.
  • A purposeful and empathetic change agent, embracing what makes Conferma unique to customers while also bringing a fresh perspective on how we can operate at scale.
