Bodine Electric, a U.S. manufacturer of high-quality electric motors and gearmotors, is seeking a results-driven Strategic Account Manager to lead growth in our largest OEM customer markets. This is a high-impact, senior-level position focused on managing and expanding key market segments—not limited by geography.
Role Summary:
As Strategic Account Manager, you will own the development and execution of market-specific strategies for 2 of Bodine’s highest-potential verticals coupled with a number of our top 10 customers. You will work cross-functionally with engineering and operations to drive revenue growth, deepen OEM partnerships, and identify new opportunities that align with our product and innovation roadmap.
This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, proven strategic selling capability, and deep understanding of the power transmission space.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead full-cycle management of strategic OEM accounts ($250K–$5M+ annual revenue), with a focus on long-term growth and customer retention.
· Develop and execute market-based strategies, informed by customer needs, competitive intelligence, and industry trends.
· Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and product development teams to deliver customer-driven solutions and customized motor/gearmotor offerings.
· Own forecasting, margin performance, and account planning for assigned market segments.
· Cultivate executive-level relationships with key OEM stakeholders to position Bodine as a preferred partner.
· Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and applications that expand Bodine’s market share.
Qualifications:
· 10+ years of progressive experience in power transmission or motion control, with a strong emphasis on OEM accounts.
· Proven success managing high-value OEM relationships in the $250K–$5M+ range.
· History of managing a total account management of $15M+.
· Strong market strategy skills, comfortable owning verticals and major accounts.
· Technical aptitude in electromechanical systems (electric motors, gearmotors, drives, controls etc.).
· Ability to travel as needed for key account development.
· Technical background and MBA a plus.
