The Strategic Account Manager is an outside sales position primarily responsible for managing and growing revenue within a geographic market. The Strategic Account Manager is a senior role focused on equipment rental sales. The candidate must effectively communicate with high-level entities across the organization, fostering deep relationships to address customer needs comprehensively. They should bring expertise, value, and problem-solving strategies to succeed in a competitive market.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in equipment-related industries or construction.
  • History of consistency and superior performance.
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Work experience in a customer service or sales environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with large accounts.
    Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Generate revenue with a select group of companies within the commercial construction space.
  • Daily account management and revenue growth through visits to various customer offices, facilities, and job sites
  • Develop, plan, and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals.
  • Effective implementation of products and services
  • Identify customer needs and react appropriately while understanding the market conditions and local competitors’ pricing.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns.
  • Assist branches in keeping abreast with customer changes and job site problems.
  • Support all team members.
