As Strategic Sales Manager, you will be part of our field sales organisation, focused on the largest enterprise accounts; both existing customers and new customer acquisition. You will be responsible for driving direct led business growth by generating new revenue streams from net new logos through developing your own sales pipeline, crafting strategic business transformation proposals, nurturing strategic partnerships, and closing large deals at CxO level. As an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven hunter, you will excel in a fast-paced environment. You will spend your time selling large complex deals across multiple levels within the organisation, and navigating procurement processes. What will you own: Proactively identify new business opportunities and potential clients, driving large, complex deals through to close Develop a sustainable sales pipeline through outbound initiatives like cold calling, networking, and social media engagement Build accurate forecasting and an operational cadence with management Research, draft, and present business transformational proposals that address client needs and provide innovative solutions Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners to leverage their networks and abilities, thereby enhancing the business' offerings Qualify prospects and move opportunities systematically through the sales pipeline, from identification and initial outreach to the closed / won sales stage Expertly demonstrate Markforged technology to end users including articulating and sharing Industry insights to help manufacturers and partners embrace additive manufacturing and overcome business challenges Manage multiple customer opportunities with multiple partners at once while maintaining a high level of attention to detail Drive reference-able customer satisfaction in your accounts Any other duties as reasonably required What you have: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred Track record of proven success in a quota carrying role (proof of quota attainment) Experience selling large ticket items to C-level executives and customers with more than 3k employees Recent experience managing a diverse pipeline across multiple industries and customers Past experience in high tech sales, such as 3D CAD Sales, Solidworks, Autodesk or Robots Automation is beneficial Strong understanding of the design and manufacturing industry trends and market dynamics With excellent communication skills both verbally and written, you will be able to establish and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally #LI-REMOTE #fulltime Why Markforged?
