In the Travel and Transport team, we care deeply about supporting our customers to get the most out of the solutions they invest in. We want to improve their customers’ journey, use data to bring insights about their customers, and deliver solutions that are only made possible with cloud, data and AI.
To help our customers achieve this, Microsoft have a broad family of resources who bring diverse perspectives to our customers, building alliances where we truly partner with our customers to support their Digital Transformation journey. The Account Technology Strategist plays a crucial role in our technical and business relationship with customers and will act as a Chief Digital and Technology Strategist, building long lasting relationships with Chief Digital Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Information Officers, Chief Security Officers, and the stakeholders in our customers who drive change and simply make things happen!
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field
Proven technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience, OR equivalent experience.

As a Account Technology Strategist, you will be a fantastic pre-sales orchestrator, listening to opinions from across the Customer, Partner and the Microsoft team, and helping to engage the right resource at the right time to progress the customer change programs, resulting in great customer success and positive impact.
A key part of being a successful Account Technology Strategist is working with our customers and their partners to ensure employees are adopting our solutions in the right way, and that we are helping end users of technology and services become more effective. A great ATS is also someone who learns how our solutions are being used in new, innovative ways, and takes these stories out to educate other customers about how they can leverage our solutions to make their employees more effective and deliver greater positive change.
These stories are also stories that we need to share internally amongst the Microsoft community to ensure you are able to learn from your teammates, and equally your teammates can learn from you to help the entire marketplace move forwards.
