About the Role The Associate Manager will serve as the main point of contact for an assigned client account, ensuring excellent service and account profitability for our Strategic Accounts. The role will coordinate communication between departments, support day-to-day client needs, and manage projects that drive efficient business operations. Working closely with the Relationship Manager and Director of Strategic Accounts, the position will manage the client book of business and provide recommendations to improve servicing and administration. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the delivery of services and day-to-day client needs to retain accounts, establish strong client relationships, and achieve high levels of client satisfaction. Maintain client-required business documentation and ensures all files are up to date. Provide regular updates to management on issue logs and execute on documentation resolutions. Execute all cyclical reporting requirements accurately and on time. Establish and maintain client and carrier relationships while developing a strong understanding of all aspects of each program. Manage escalated member issues by working with functional departments to identify impacts and implement appropriate solutions. Serve as a liaison with internal teams—including operations, marketing, carrier relations, customer service, and IT—to ensure seamless account servicing. Handle special projects such as new plan implementations, rate adjustments, benefit or carrier changes, and program updates. Support operational and compliance audits to ensure reliability, program integrity, and strong carrier partnerships. Assist with marketing plans and reviews materials for adherence to program guidelines. Monitor digital program sites to ensure accuracy and identify enhancement opportunities. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred. P & C or Life & Health license preferred, or the ability to obtain within 90 days. 1-3 years of experience in insurance, account management, or client relations preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to make sound judgments in demanding situations. Ability to work independently, make decisions, meet deadlines, multi-task and solve problems. Demonstrated performance excellence and leadership qualities in previous positions.
