Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in sales of technical and explanatory products, preferably within the foundry/thermal (glass/ copper & Aluminium) industry or industrial minerals.
  • Degree in foundry/thermal technology or similar, but not mandatory
  • Self-motivation, result orientation and will to succeed
  • Self-starter and finisher with persuasive power
  • Understanding and implementation of the Value-In-Use approach
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills including the ability to listen
  • Analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and partially abroad
  • Ambition for self, team and business development
  • Language skills in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Driving license passenger cars
  • Team player
  • IT applications such as MS Office, presentation, word processing, spreadsheet, web tools, …)
Responsibilities
  • Technical and commercial support for foundry/thermal (glass/ copper & Aluminium) customers in Germany and abroad
  • Identification of potential new customers as well as their acquisition and support
  • Establishment and maintenance of customer relationships incl. further development and CRM documentation
  • Preparation and execution of trials with new and existing customers
  • Conducting presentations in-house and at customer sites
  • Definition and development of customer-specific products and suitable formulations
  • Technical and commercial benchmarking against competitive products
  • Determination of customer needs and execution of utility value analyses
  • Preparation of technical-commercial concepts, offers including price and condition negotiations with new and existing customers
  • Participation in reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensuring safety-related rules and behavior
  • Carrying out market, product and competition analyses
  • Participation in cross-divisional sales and marketing projects
  • Participation in trade fairs, exhibitions and professional events at home and abroad
