Description
The Strategic Alliances Manager, Asia will play a critical role in managing and growing Vertiv's strategic alliances with key server OEM manufacturers in the AI and data center space. This role is critical to driving innovation, revenue growth, and market leadership by fostering deep collaboration with top-tier server manufacturers. The successful candidate will understand the complex power and cooling requirements of AI servers, proactively support strategic account needs, and position Vertiv as the go-to provider for comprehensive infrastructure solutions.   Responsibilities: * Partnership and Organizational Development: Strengthen relationships with assigned strategic accounts for e.g. Dell, Lenovo, HPE, Cisco and others, by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities and driving collaboration for mutual success. Establish strategic alliance’s organizational structure, relationship mapping, Go-to-Market strategies on a per country basis * Industry Insight & Reference Architecture: Gain first-hand information about new products and solution launches, particularly related to power, cooling and monitoring requirements, to stay ahead of AI technology demands. Work on specifying Vertiv’s offering and align to the reference architecture * Customer Experience: Enhance customer satisfaction by offering proactive support and customized solutions tailored to the specific needs of strategic account. Work on solution showcase to drive “seeing is believing”  * Innovation and Collaboration: Lead innovative initiatives by understanding emerging AI technologies and trends, driving collaboration with strategic accounts to develop and promote cutting-edge solutions. * Market Leadership: Position Vertiv as a market and technology leader by working with strategic accounts and obtaining endorsements and recommendations from leading AI companies and their respective Tier 1 partners and resellers * Comprehensive Solutions: Promote and implement Vertiv’s full range of data center solutions, including power, thermal, and monitoring products tailored to AI applications, with strong focus on liquid cooling, smart run and One Core offerings * Strategic Engagement: Implement a dedicated engagement model, including regular touchpoints, strategic planning, quarterly business reviews, and executive briefings with strategic account. * IT Supply Chain Integration: Drive cohesion across the IT supply chain to optimize collaboration and opportunity realization across Vertiv’s strategic account. * Opportunities, Orders Forecasting and Reporting: The candidate is expected to drive strong build up of opportunities across Asia, and monthly order forecasting to ensure ownership and closures   Qualifications:  * >5 years of experience in Channels and Strategic Alliances partnership and business development, with good interpersonal relationship and strong technology datacenter knowledge.   The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.     OUR CORE PRINCIPALS:  Safety.  Integrity. Respect.  Teamwork.  Diversity & Inclusion.   OUR STRATEGIC PRIORITIES * Customer Focus * Operational Excellence * High-Performance Culture * Innovation * Financial Strength   OUR BEHAVIORS * Own It * Act With Urgency * Foster a Customer-First Mindset * Think Big and Execute * Lead by Example * Drive Continuous Improvement * Learn and Seek Out Development At Vertiv, we’re on a mission to empower the people that will power the future.
