INTRODUCTION:

Rivet Operations Company is looking for a forward-thinking Strategic Analytical Planner to deliver advanced data science, operations research, and analytical support to the Air National Guard. This role demands innovation, critical thinking, and deep technical skills to assess complex problems and offer strategic guidance for the future force.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with at least 24 credit hours in mathematics (up to 9 credits may be in computer science).
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data science, operations research, or analytics.
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience developing models and simulations in a defense or national security environment.
  • Familiarity with tools like R, Python, MATLAB, or equivalent analytical platforms.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. May include lifting to 25 pounds as necessary.
  • This role may also require the ability to move between secure facilities with specialized equipment or data and may involve participation in technical workshops, collaborative sessions, or site surveys related to strategic research activities.

    Compensation Maximum: $117,651.00
