REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in business consulting, ideally within the healthcare, dental, or optometry sectors
  • Proven expertise in strategic planning, leadership development, and operational optimization
  • Experience working with small businesses, providing tailored solutions for complex challenges
  • Strong financial acumen, including KPI analysis, benchmarking, and cash flow optimization
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-first mindset
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and proactive approach to problem-solving

Nice To Have:

  • Prior management or advisory experience in healthcare, optometry, or dental sectors
  • Experience with CRM systems and familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Public speaking or facilitation experience in training or client presentations

Responsibilities
  • Leadership Development & Team Dynamics:
  • Coach practice owners to strengthen their leadership skills and create effective, scalable teams.
  • Offer strategic advice on organizational structure, team dynamics, and succession planning.
  • Support clients in hiring, training, and developing cohesive, high-performing teams.
  • Financial Strategy & Practice Growth:
  • Analyze cash flow, profitability, and financial sustainability to develop actionable strategies.
  • Conduct operational benchmarking and KPI analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Guide clients on aligning financial strategies with growth goals and exit plans.
  • Operational Efficiency & Patient Experience:
  • Perform operational assessments and recommend productivity improvements.
  • Optimize workflows, resource allocation, and patient scheduling for better practice efficiency.
  • Help practices enhance the patient experience while maintaining high-quality care.
  • Brand & Marketing Alignment:
  • Collaborate with clients to align their practice brand, employer brand, and marketing efforts.
  • Ensure that patient satisfaction and retention strategies align with overall business goals.
  • Client Collaboration & Development:
  • Work closely with other Cleinman consultants and internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and progress monitoring to ensure sustained client success.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Client Solutions to address any client satisfaction issues.
  • Business Development:
  • Drive adoption of consulting services and programs among current and prospective clients.
  • Support new partner acquisition through referrals, relationship-building, and strategy sessions.
