ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a Strategic Inbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a pivotal role in our customer acquisition strategy as a key member of our marketing team. This position serves as the critical bridge between marketing-generated demand and the sales pipeline.
A significant aspect of this role involves leveraging our founders’ networks and investor channels to create warm introductions and high-value connections. You’ll map relationships between our founders, investors, and target prospects to build a strategic network-based approach to customer acquisition. Working collaboratively with both marketing leadership and sales teams, you’ll optimize the prospect journey, provide invaluable market intelligence, and contribute to our overall go-to-market strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO?

  • Serve as the strategic nexus between marketing-generated leads and sales pipeline development
  • Analyze inbound lead quality to identify high-value acquisition targets and optimize conversion patterns
  • Develop and implement strategic lead qualification frameworks aligned with marketing campaign objectives
  • Conduct discovery calls using consultative approaches to assess prospect fit with our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)
  • Design and execute targeted LinkedIn follow-up campaigns for founders and C-level executives
  • Map and leverage founders’ professional networks to identify second-degree connections for warm introductions
  • Research investor portfolios to identify potential synergies and connection opportunities within founder networks
  • Coordinate with our founding team to activate their networks for strategic introductions and referrals
  • Develop relationship-based outreach strategies utilizing shared investor connections and portfolio companies
  • Organize exclusive founder-to-founder introduction calls leveraging our investors’ and founders’ networks
  • Provide regular feedback to marketing leadership on campaign effectiveness and lead quality insights
  • Research company founders and leadership teams to craft personalized outreach strategies
  • Create data-driven recommendations to optimize the marketing-to-sales handoff process
  • Contribute to pipeline reviews with both marketing and sales leadership
  • Handle inbound inquiries from multiple channels with strategic prioritization
  • Create compelling, value-driven engagement content for high-value prospects
  • Maintain comprehensive analytics on conversion rates and prospect engagement metrics
  • Qualify and strategically route leads to the appropriate Account Executive based on territory and industry focus
  • Stay current on market trends, competitive intelligence, and buyer personas
  • Participate in marketing strategy sessions to align lead qualification approaches with campaign objectives
