Your tasks

You are responsible for strategic procurement in the area of ​​finished goods and contract manufacturing and will sustainably develop our supplier landscape:

• Development and implementation of purchasing strategies for defined categories and strategic suppliers
• Selection, evaluation and targeted development of international suppliers and contract manufacturers
• Preparation and conduct of complex contract negotiations as well as conclusion and management of framework agreements
• Control of RFx processes, offer comparisons and commercial evaluations
• Close collaboration with internal departments such as Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, R&D and Finance
• Active management of supplier performance, including the initiation of improvement and escalation measures.
• Participation in strategic projects (e.g., make-or-buy, dual sourcing, transfers)
• Further development of data-driven, digital and efficient purchasing processes, including the use of modern tools.

Your profile

• Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering or comparable;
• alternatively, commercial/technical training with sound practical experience.
• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in a contract manufacturing environment
• Experience in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies as well as in supplier management
• Experience in international negotiations and cross-functional collaboration
• A good understanding of production processes as well as supply chain and capacity issues.
• Strong affinity for numbers and systems, confident in using ERP/procurement systems and Excel
• Openness to digital innovations and AI applications
• Structured work style as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent English
