Join AXA Retail as a Strategic Development Executive and support the growth of our Retail Intermediary partnerships. You’ll coordinate the onboarding and delivery of new deals within the Retail Distribution function, ensuring requirements, governance, and partner readiness activities are clearly defined, well-managed, and delivered on time. Working closely with the New Business Delivery Manager and the Bid and Proposal Manager, you’ll translate agreed business opportunities into controlled, scalable partnerships that contribute to AXA’s strategic growth ambitions. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Develop and maintain onboarding plans for new partners and deals, defining tasks, timelines, dependencies, roles, and success criteria for both AXA and the partner Coordinate partner readiness activities, including documentation, training, process walk-throughs, and go-live assessments Ensure governance artefacts (terms of reference, decision logs, RAID logs, approvals, and documentation) are produced, stored, and maintained in line with AXA standards Facilitate regular project and workstream meetings, ensuring clear agendas, minutes, actions, and follow-up with stakeholders and external partners Maintain accurate progress reporting for each deal, providing visibility of progress, risks, dependencies, and issues to the New Business Delivery Manager and senior stakeholders Support risk and dependency management by working with internal teams to identify, record, and track mitigating actions Assist the Bid and Proposal Manager in transitioning bids to delivery, ensuring assumptions and expectations captured during the bidding phase are reflected in onboarding plans Contribute to improvements in the New Deals & Delivery framework through lessons learned and best practice sharing Due to the number of applications, we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. What you’ll bring: Strong organisational and planning skills to handle multiple tasks at once Good relationship management skills, working well with internal teams and external partners Clear and confident communicator, both in writing and speaking Attention to detail and a disciplined approach to governance and documentation Experience in personal lines insurance, distribution, partnerships, or project coordination is a plus Good understanding of the customer and partner journey in Personal Lines markets Skilled in IT tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration platforms such as Teams and SharePoint Solid numeracy skills to interpret data and present information clearly As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
