The company provides a range of outsourcing solutions such as inbound and outbound sales, cross selling, order processing, technical support, customer support, tele-marketing, telecoms engineering and system development. Our clients are extremely fast growth communications businesses, working in the Technology sector.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

You do not need to have experience in working with councils, however experience in developing relationships in multi – tiered organisations is a must
Leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and projects
Understanding of financial analysis and budgeting
Establish lead times to ensure schedules will be met
An experienced networker that can build relationships locally with councils
A confident presenter and communicator
Able to coherently brief colleagues on campaigns and ideas
Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships at various levels and to resolve issues
Innovative and forward-thinking with a desire to improve efficiencies within a business and fuel positive change and growth.
Proven project management skills for end-to-end planning and delivery of projects
Experience of managing conflicting and changing priorities, multi-tasking, working under pressure to strict deadlines and problem solving

Pay: £50,000.00-£75,000.00 per year

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE OF STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Engaging at a senior level. The main function of the role is to oversee our relationships within Local Councils in line with the expansion of our network. The role holder will be responsible for delivering effective account management for existing contracts and agreements.
Identifying and evaluating potential business growth opportunities, developing and executing strategic plans, stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and performance monitoring to drive long-term success. You will also be representing the business whilst engaging with Local Councils and be an ambassador for our brand as we transform the way people and business connect through the internet.
Although this role requires excellent relationship building skills, success will be measured by increasing positive brand awareness and operational success rather than direct financial contribution

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Proactively seek out new agreements
Provide the initial tender, through the negotiation and acceptance stages
Attend off-site client meetings and events
Conducting in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Leading the development and execution of business development strategies
Overseeing the execution of strategic initiatives from ideation to implementation
Setting project timelines, milestones, and performance metrics
Managing project teams and allocating resources effectively
Reporting on strategic performance to senior management
Proposing new strategic directions and initiatives
