The Strategic Enterprise Integration and Modernization (“SEIM”) Division within the City of Toronto, Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer provides business transformation and modernization across Finance and Treasury Service Area.
In this temporary role, reporting to the Senior Project Manager , the SEIM Lead (ESS/MSS, Reporting) will lead complex, multi-year, multi-divisional technology transformation projects for the Finance and Treasury Service Area and Corporation to modernize and improve City-wide applications and processes.
The position will develop and implement complex, large-scale programs, projects and policy initiatives to deliver project mandates. Provide advanced project management, technical expertise and consultation services.
Utilizing subject matter expertise to provide senior-level analysis, systems support, and lead project implementation activities on behalf of the Pension, Payroll, and Employee Benefits Division across SAP ECC, S4, SuccessFactors, BI/BW, ESS/MSS applications and sub-applications.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
ROLE #1:
The ESS/MSS Lead will specialize in HR and payroll self-service functionalities for employees and managers, emphasizing user-centric design, process optimization, and solutions that enhance accessibility and improve the overall user experience.
ROLE #2:
The Reporting Lead will focus on data and analytics, offering expertise in reporting strategies/frameworks, compliance-focused insights, and decision-support tools that empower the division and end-users to enhance performance and fulfill statutory obligations.
Both roles will work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements, deliver configuration-driven functional solutions, and partner with business & technical teams to troubleshoot root issues and implement system enhancements. Each Lead will also direct project teams in the design and implementation of application solutions and targeted improvements within their area of expertise.
