As a Strategic Finance Analyst, you will be reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager and working closely with other senior Finance leaders, including the VP, Finance Operations and the CFO. Over time, your role may evolve such that you may have a chance to work closely with additional stakeholders across the company, the Leadership Team and/or the Executive Team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of working experience in one or more of the following areas: investment banking, private equity & venture capital, management consulting, or corporate development. Experience in strategic finance within a high-growth, technology-led company is a plus
  • Exceptional data manipulation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides. Strong inclination towards and aptitude for use of technology/systems to drive process automation to improve efficiency
  • Strong willingness to learn new skills, with a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment
  • Experience working with diverse teams across multiple geographies and cultural backgrounds
Responsibilities
  • Support FP&A Team in all operational matters, with a particular focus on building center of excellence (COE) capabilities that eliminate as much as possible dependencies on manual workloads, currently related to data inconsistencies across multiple financial/operational systems
  • Monitor and optimize data reconciliation challenges that may arise between systems due to workflow changes, standardization of processes, new product launches, etc.
  • Participate in and, over time, own key FP&A transformation initiatives, including leveraging of AI-based automation and Advanced Analytics tools (e.g. PowerBI, Anaplan, and Alteryx) that can enhance reporting, financial modeling, forecast accuracy, while automating repetitive tasks
  • Develop and maintain financial models
  • Conduct in-depth market research and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term business planning
  • Support the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and other corporate development opportunities, as required
  • Support post-deal activities, notably tracking of financial performance of acquired businesses or entities, providing specific insights around variances, and working with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Commercial, Product, Marketing) to adjust / optimize integration processes
