Description We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Strategic Finance Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping Ark's strategic direction by developing financial frameworks, supporting critical business decisions, and providing actionable insights to leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain our operating model, support deal analysis and pricing for data center opportunities, and help establish unit economics that enable competitive and profitable pricing across our products and services. This is a high-visibility role where you will partner with senior leadership, the Board, and our sponsors to drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with intellectual curiosity and a relentless drive to solve complex problems. You thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate with precision at all levels of the organization, and take ownership of your work from start to finish. Essential Functions: • Support deal analysis and underwriting for data center opportunities, including pricing approval for larger customer engagements • Develop and refine unit economics frameworks to inform competitive pricing strategies across all products and services • Conduct strategic analyses to understand the key drivers of Ark's financial performance, with a focus on cost structures, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency • Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and capital investments, translating insights into actionable recommendations • Prepare materials and analyses for the management team, Board, and investor presentations • Partner with FP&A on annual and quarterly planning processes, contributing strategic perspective to target-setting and resource allocation • Conduct post-investment lookbacks to assess capital deployment effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities • Support ad-hoc strategic projects and analyses as business needs arise Requirements 2-4 years of professional experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, or a related analytical role • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail • Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and clear recommendations • Professional presence and excellent communication skills, with comfort presenting to C-level executives and Board members • Relentless problem-solving mindset—you figure things out and don't stop until you have the answer • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable shifting priorities as business needs evolve • Self-starter who takes ownership and has a strong desire to learn and grow • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across teams • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field Preferred Qualifications • Experience in TMT (Technology, Media, Telecom), digital infrastructure, or data center sectors • Familiarity with deal analysis, pricing strategy, or unit economics development • Basic SQL skills or experience with business intelligence tools
