POSITION OVERVIEW

The Strategic Government Sales Manager with [Saudi Arabia] will focus on leading strategic sales initiatives and driving revenue growth within the public sector across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of closing high-value government deals, in-depth knowledge of procurement processes, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 8–10 years of experience in government sales, preferably within IT, Cybersecurity, or Enterprise Solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and winning complex government contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi government procurement and tendering procedures (Etimad platform, etc.).
  • Established network within public sector stakeholders in Riyadh and across KSA.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the public sector sales strategy aligned with company goals and Saudi Vision 2030.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities with ministries, semi-government entities, and other public institutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and key influencers within government bodies.
  • Lead end-to-end bid and tender processes, including RFP/RFQ responses, proposal development, and pricing negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi government procurement regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal functions including legal, finance, marketing, and technical pre-sales to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Regularly report sales performance, forecasts, and market intelligence to leadership.
  • Represent the company in government exhibitions, industry events, and conferences.
