Posting Date 12/24/2025 3201 S 323rd St, Federal Way, Washington, 98001-5023, United States of America GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB The primary purpose of this position is to support the accounting for DaVita’s Non-Profits as well as Strategic Business Initiatives (SBI), independent businesses primarily focused on providing services complimentary to kidney care. Under minimal supervision, this position will work closely with Operations and Finance to ensure accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting, including but not limited to account analysis and reconciliation, trend analysis, journal entry preparation, financial statement preparation, forecasting and research. The expectation of this position is to have knowledge of intermediate accounting concepts and possess a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to follow a defined process and participate in special projects as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Close Analysis: General ledger functions including month-end accruals, accounting adjustments, account reconciliation roll-forwards, and other schedules used to support financial statements. Responsible for activities such as accounts receivable billing and collections, development projects, fixed assets, inventory, prepaid expenses, medical director fees, leases/subleases, revenue, as well as other Balance Sheet accounts as deemed necessary. Awareness of potential intercompany transactions. Financial Statement Analysis and Prep: Includes basic Financial Statements as well as manual reporting for significant areas. Trend analysis and research for all financial areas using multiple systems, applications, and collaboration with various departments. Participate and lead meetings with team, SBI and Non-profit partners as necessary. Other duties as assigned: Respond to ad hoc questions from finance and operations, participate in meetings, establish policies, and improve processes, projects, recons, SOX, audit support, preparation of presentations and internal communications, accounting memos, and training etc. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Required 2-4 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree in related area Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn new internal systems and tools Basic understanding of basic Financial Statements and general ledger accounting functions Strong communication and analytical skills Demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Alignment with Core Values Preferred CPA or MBA TRAVEL AND TIME REQUIREMENTS Travel: None Nights/Weekends: Rarely, once or twice a quarter. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
