Description

WHO ARE WE IN DIGITAL INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT?

The Digital Investment Management team, situated within the CFO Area, is tasked with directing financial decisions and managing investments across the bank’s agile and cross-functional development organization. We provide expert support in financial decision-making and cost steering, utilizing traditional finance techniques such as budgeting and forecasting to determine development capacity. In this role you will be connecting strategic plans with financial planning and development, project financial impacts of strategies, and support the definition and tracking of benefits.
The team is aiming to continuously enhance the development organization’s financial steering model by ensuring alignment and compatibility with agile principles, governance, and processes. Each Investment Partner is responsible for supporting at least one development unit, depending on the unit’s size. We are a relatively new, global team based in Lithuania and Denmark, working collaboratively to empower our stakeholders to create and deliver high value to Danske Bank customers. Depending on your experience, you may be offered a different seniority of the role.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Strategic Investment Partner to team up with senior strategic investment partner supporting one of the largest development units of the Bank. You will be working as a small team within DIM team and will share responsibilities, where the current colleague will take more of a leading role, and you will be partnering up.

  • Build and maintain credible relationships with the senior leadership of development units and unit CFOs
  • Assist senior leadership in managing their digital investments, questioning and/or triggering prioritization and early course corrections when needed
  • Lead cost and capacity reporting and provide sparring for your respective development unit(s)
  • Oversee the annual estimation of investment benefits as part of the group-wide annual development planning, ensuring that the bank’s overall investment prioritization is supported by stringent benefit assessments
  • Act as a close sparring partner for the team, colleagues in your area, and stakeholders
  • Apply your best practices and knowledge to develop and enhance the ways we work to provide first-class services
