Through the close integration of technical expertise and purchasing know-how, as well as its strategic perspective, the Corporate Indirect Procurement department provides inexpensive and high-quality materials and sees itself as a competent service provider and link between departments and suppliers.

Your tasks

• Global responsibility for procurement activities for the IT product group (consisting of IT hardware, IT software, IT services and telecommunications)
• Creation and application of necessary control instruments for strategic purchasing (business plan, procurement strategy, procurement plan, etc.)
• Conception, development and implementation of purchasing strategies and cost reduction projects
• Implementation, negotiation and conclusion of global framework agreements
• Cross-site implementation, continuous optimization and assurance of purchasing processes and methods
• Management of peer departments within the assigned subject area (product groups)
• Professional leadership of the local buyers on site and the local buyers at regional locations worldwide.

Your profile

• Studies in industrial engineering, business administration, computer science or similar fields, as well as a strong understanding of information technology.
• Extensive experience in strategic corporate purchasing in the above-mentioned category
• Extensive experience in negotiation, optimization of purchasing processes and methods
• Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and excellent presentation techniques.
• Fluent German and English skills
