JOB SUMMARY

We’re seeking experienced Strategic People Partners to deliver innovative HR services, products, and solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. As our organisation scales, you’ll empower business leaders to enhance performance through robust workforce planning, leadership development, organisational effectiveness, staff capability and skills, staff engagement, and talent development.
These positions are crucial for delivering an ambitious program of work that ensures Companies House has the right skills in the right place at the right time to achieve our priority outcomes. You’ll partner with senior leaders to design and implement people interventions in areas such as resourcing, reward, strategic workforce planning, employee experience, skills development, and policy.
As a key member of the extended senior leadership team, you’ll drive the strategic intent of our ambitious people plan, embracing innovative people practices and providing clear direction, pace, and drive. JOB DESCRIPTION

Operating at both strategic and tactical advisory levels, our People Partners are integral members of their respective business area’s leadership teams. You’ll be highly respected for your insights and contributions to developing business strategy.
You’ll develop a deep understanding of our organisation’s priorities, ways of working, challenges, and opportunities. Using this knowledge, you’ll make significant contributions to achieving these priorities, championing strategic workforce planning and organisational design practices. Your work will help create a capable, confident, and resilient workforce aligned with our key objectives.
Your main areas of focus will change depending on the needs and priorities of your Directorate. The core responsibilities are as follows:

PERSON SPECIFICATION

To be successful in the role, we are looking for candidates with:

  • Proven experience as Senior HR Professional
  • Sound knowledge and experience across the whole HR spectrum, and the ability to develop a wide understanding of business priorities.
  • Experience of building strong, trusting, and influential relationships with senior stakeholders to provide appropriate challenge, navigate differing views and priorities, and ensure people issues and impacts are fully considered.
  • Experience of partnering with subject matter experts and senior leaders to build leadership capability, and lead workforce planning, talent, and development initiatives.
  • Confident in interpreting and communicating data to develop insight-driven, evidence-based solutions, with experience analysing strategic HR and business data and feedback to generate impactful insights.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to align workforce initiatives to business objectives.
  • The ability to interpret and present workforce analytics to drive decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence and advise leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Level 5 CIPD qualification, but ideally Level 7, or working towards.
We will require proof of your qualification prior to the interview.

This job is broadly open to the following groups:
