Description
About CADDi CADDi is a global manufacturing platform on a mission to "unleash the potential of manufacturing." Through our proprietary technology, we are transforming a trillion-dollar industry by digitizing the supply chain and providing critical infrastructure for both procurement and manufacturing teams. As we scale our North American operations, we are looking for a Strategic Planning Manager who can turn data into a strategic weapon. The Role The Strategic Planning Manager acts as the "internal consultant" and data architect for CADDi’s North American expansion. This is not a customer-facing role; instead, you will be the engine behind our internal operations. You will extract and synthesize complex marketing, sales, and operational data, turning "complete chaos" into a structured "Rhythm of Business." You will provide the CEO, CFO, and VP-level leadership with the metrics and intelligence required to scale a high-growth organization. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & KPI Management Own the Core: Maintain and evolve CADDi’s North American KPI framework (Revenue, Pipeline, Retention, Productivity, and Unit Economics). Visualization: Design and improve executive dashboards and operating metrics that provide real-time visibility into the health of the business. Trend Analysis: Proactively identify performance risks and opportunities, surfacing them to the leadership team before they become critical issues. Implication & Decision Support Strategic Insights: Translate raw data into clear, actionable recommendations for the executive suite. Financial Modeling: Support decision-making through structured analyses, scenario modeling, and deep-dive investigations. Executive Support: Lead the preparation for Board meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and annual strategic planning sessions. Cross-Functional Planning & Execution Alignment: Partner with VPs and Directors to ensure functional plans (Sales, Marketing, CS) align with overarching company goals. Accountability: Track execution against quarterly goals and follow up on action items to ensure the organization stays on pace. Workflow Automation System Architecture: Build and manage agentic workflows (using SQL, n8n, or Zapier) to automate data collection from disparate sources, eliminating manual silos and "spreadsheet fatigue." Who You Are The Consultant-Operator: You have a "Consultant-turned-Operator" mindset. You can break down messy, ambiguous problems into structured plans, but you have the bias for action required to execute them. The Data Architect: You don't just report data; you understand the architecture behind it. You are obsessed with accuracy and the narrative that data tells. The High Performer: You are likely at the Engagement Manager (EM) level or a high-performing Associate at a top-tier firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) looking to make a massive impact in a "0 to 1" environment. Qualifications Required: Experience: 3–6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth BizOps role. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Industrial Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or Mathematics). Technical Savvy: High proficiency in data manipulation and the ability to learn/implement automation tools (SQL, n8n, Zapier). Preferred: Tech Stack: Advanced Salesforce administration and data visualization skills (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI). Domain Expertise: Background in the manufacturing or industrial technology sector. Startup DNA: Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS or "0 to 1" startup environment. Work Environment & Travel Office: This role is based in our Chicago, IL office. We believe in the power of in-person collaboration to drive rapid growth. Travel: Periodic travel (up to 15-20%) to customer sites or our Global HQ in Japan may be required. On-Target Earnings (OTE): $170,000 – $230,000+ (Base Salary + Performance Bonus). Equity: Competitive stock option package. Health & Wellness: 100% company-paid comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision). Retirement: 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Time Off: Substantial Paid Time Off (PTO) and company holidays. Commuter Benefits: Company-sponsored commuter and parking benefits.
